These pieces were done from my unus -ually freq -uent trips to Japan this year. I am norm -ally a very shy person, however I try my best to chit-chat with people in airports & airplanes. I've met some rather interesting people this way. Airborne at about the 9th hour I get bored and everyone is asleep. So I bust out the sketchbook. Our first victim is a girl named Maki who was visiting LA to study English. Her father had some health problems and since the last time I spoke with her, he is doing fine. Our next victim is Mio. She is a Magazine Publisher (I'll keep her info private) leaving Osaka to join up with her buddies in LA for vacation which seemed pretty rare for her lifestyle. After reviewing these sketches, I'm pretty jazzed to get back on that plane to visit Maui in about 1 month. Hope you enjoyed my post.
