I used to relate the martial arts to the image of Bruce Lee kicking someones ass. My conception of him changed during the research process in creating a new piece for Gallery Nucleus' "The Nature of Water" show (an exhibition inspired by the philosophies of Bruce Lee) going on this Saturday, Jan. 5. I learned quite a bit about the man beneath his on-screen machismo. This piece was done with my pen and an evening's tea. Hopefully you can feel the peaceful moment I wanted to capture.
