Yesterday contributing artists and museum donors were invited to a private viewing of the "Kokeshi from Folk Art to Art Toy" exhibition at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles. Curated by Christina Conway (6th picture down with participating artist, Ken Guardino), this exhibition showcases 100 artists interpreting the old-time tradition of painting kokeshi dolls. The 3rd picture down is my contribution. Other participating artists included: Kent Williams, Tara McPherson, Amy Sol, Stella Im Hultberg, Jeni Yang (4th picture down with me), Yoskay Yamamoto, Tessar Lo, and Travis Louie. Thanks to Christina and Maria for curating an amazing show and keeping it a fun experience. Go see it today!
My piece has already sold. Many apologies to my collectors out there. Supposedly, you need to be present to purchase artwork. Thank you!

It was wonderful meeting you and stop trying to steal my ideas, I'm on to you! Can't wait to meet again and discuss cats and karaoke. :)
