Quinquennium Exhibitum: Nucleus 5 Year Anniversary Exhibition

3 years ago, I was working in the video game industry and needed an outlet to develop my own personal artwork. Gallery Nucleus gave me my first opportunity to showcase my art in a gallery scene. The following year they graciously offered me a solo exhibition which eventually sold out. Now, they celebrate 5 years and I am again given the opportunity to share my art with you. This painting above is filled with allot of gratitude towards Ben Zhu and his amazing staff. It is my way of saying thank you for all of your support.

Wieden + Kennedy Tokyo Lab California Event

Remember my contribution towards Wieden + Kennedy Tokyo Lab's book project entitled, Tokyo Ten? Well, it has been traveling throughout Japan and will be visiting our hood this weekend on Saturday, November 1 from 6PM to 11PM at Gallery Nucleus. It will be a gallery show, party and book release all rolled up in one. So come visit us for a fun evening. Many of the contributing artists including myself will be in attendance. See you there. Ninja Show 2

Some of you may think, what the heck does it mean? Well, this was my favorite childhood tv show, Batoru Fiba J. It's similar to Power Rangers, except it was the first one. Traditionally every year in Japan a new Power Ranger-esque tv show replaces the previous show. BFJ was ground-breaking in that it was the first of it's kind to include a giant robot.
So, in honor of BFJ I've done 2 pieces of art that will be presented on Aug. 11 at the Ninja Show 2 at Gallery Nucleus. Sorry no spoilers. See you there!
