Miami Recap x Recover
So many things to write to you about Miami. There are the abundance of art, the VIP parties, the perfect weather, but most importantly, it is the friends you have and the friends you make.
My post captures only a small portion of the fun times we shared because I wanted to live in that moment by keeping the camera down. Instead, these memories have all been stored and can be shared with you the next time we meet. Here is a picture of Kim Luangraj and Edith Mondragon clowning around with spectrum glasses.
Before the sun sets at Aqua Art Miami with: Travis Louie, Tomokazu Matsuyama, me, and Tessar Lo. Courtesy of Tessar Lo's blog.
Evening at the "Scion Installation 5" party at the Raleigh Hotel Penthouse with Evan Cerasoli, Dave Choe, Jeff Soto, Kelsey Brookes, and me. Stolen from Evan Cerasoli. Don't sue me Evan.
A Bombay Sapphire model's next to an outdoor pool at the extravaganza known as the Gen Art party. Got to meet James Marshall (Dalek) finally after being pen pals with him for so long.
Even away from Hawaii, somehow I am unable to avoid these people. Also, can you spot the one person that is not a sculpture in this picture?
Before the Pharrell Williams party, Sushi Chef and Artist, Yoskay Yamamoto serves up a dish.
My LA art crew: Tessar Lo, David O'Brien, Beau Basse, Mike Bonana, and Nate Frizzell.Big mahalos goes out to Scion and Cerasoli:LeBasse Gallery for making it possible for me to experience this event. View my friends Art Basel Miami postings:
