This is my Grandpa. It happened to me more frequently in the past, but I dreamt about him. Not so sure what that dream meant. All I know is that I miss him allot. Wish you were here when I need you most.
Thanks for your comment. A lot of my own art deals with dreams, figures in dreams and such. So, of course, I like this piece of your grandfather. He seems forlorn in his expression and posture.
I also notice in your drawing of your grandfather that he appears to be half in and half out of water. Water is a common symbol of the unconscious. Given this, it seems that you've represented your grandfather, literally, between states of consciousness. Interesting piece...
