Their original location in Monterey Park is my favorite spot to get local style hawaiian food. This one we went to on Saturday is in Alhambra. Pictured above is their famous Shaka Plate. No matter which location you go to, the food is consistent. It's owned and operated by 2 good friends that took a trip to Hawaii years ago. They had this grand idea that there might be a need for it here. Oh, man were they right! And they do a solid job. Too bad you can't find them in West LA. At least westsiders have L&L, Rutt's Hawaiian Cafe and Ono Hawaiian BBQ. Shakas Hawaiian Flavors
