What's the Deal with Airline Food?

It's the new thing I'm doing. Instead of going for the regular airplane meal, I select the special diet meals. I find it more fun than the ordinary chicken or pasta. For instance, here is the Kosher meal. You can't really tell, but it was beef and vegetables in a savory sauce with mashed potatoes. In my experience, the kosher meal is kind of hit-or-miss on occasion, but sometimes you will score meals like: beef stew, black pepper chicken, accompanied by fancier bread rolls, desert, beans for farting and jewish candy to fulfill your sweet tooth obsession.
